Terms of use
What you are agreeing to when you order from us. Written in plain English, because we would rather you actually read it than skim past a wall of legalese.

1Who we are
This website, ramacountryfarm.in, is run by Rama Country Farm, a family farm business operating from Suraram Colony, Dayanand Nagar, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad 500055, Telangana, India.
We are licensed under the Food Safety and Standards Act — FSSAI licence 23626033003114. You can reach us on WhatsApp or phone at +91 75693 22984, or by email at ramacountryfarm@gmail.com. There is a full list of ways to contact us on the Contact page.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Rama Country Farm. “You” means you, the person using this site or placing an order.
2Agreeing to these terms
By browsing this site or placing an order, you accept these terms, together with our Privacy policy, Returns & refunds policy and Shipping & delivery policy. Those three pages form part of this agreement.
We may update these terms — prices change, products change, and occasionally the law changes. The version on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. We will not apply a change retrospectively to an order you have already paid for.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
3Placing an order
Adding something to your basket is not an order. An order exists once you have paid, and we will confirm it. Until we confirm it, we may decline an order — for example if the item has just sold out, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we believe the order is fraudulent. If we decline, we refund you in full.
Stock on this site is real stock from a small farm, not a warehouse number. If we get it wrong and cannot supply something you have paid for, we will tell you and refund that item in full. We will not silently substitute a different product.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address and phone number you give us. See Shipping & delivery for what happens if they are wrong.
4Prices, GST and invoices
All prices are in Indian Rupees and are shown inclusive of GST at the rate applicable to that product. The rate is not the same for every item — food attracts different rates — and the exact rate and amount for your order appear in the order summary and on your invoice.
A GST invoice is issued for every order and sent to you on WhatsApp. The tax rate on your invoice is the rate in force on the day you ordered; if a rate changes later, your old invoice is unaffected.
We try hard to keep prices and product details accurate. If an obvious error slips through — a price that is plainly wrong — we will contact you before dispatching, and you can either confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5Payment
We are prepaid only. There is no cash on delivery. Paying online keeps our prices honest and confirms your order the moment you pay.
Payments are handled by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway. You can pay by UPI, card or netbanking. Your card, UPI and banking details go straight to Razorpay and are never seen by, sent to, or stored on our servers. Their terms and privacy policy apply to that part of the transaction alongside ours.
If a payment is debited from your account but your order does not appear, do not pay again — message us with the payment reference. Failed payments are reversed by the bank, usually within five to seven working days.
6The nature of what we sell
This matters more than any other clause here, so it is in plain words: our food is unrefined, made in small batches, and it varies.
- Cold-pressed oil settles and throws sediment. That is a sign it was not over-filtered, not a fault.
- Colour, aroma and thickness differ from batch to batch with the season and the crop.
- Country eggs are unwashed, to keep the natural protective layer intact. Sizes are uneven because the birds are not standardised.
- Shelf life is shorter than an industrially processed equivalent, because there is nothing in it to extend it.
Every pack carries a batch number and a packed-on date, and you can look any of them up at Check a batch. Storage guidance is on each product page. Please follow it — food stored badly after delivery is not covered by our returns policy.
7Health claims
We describe traditional and everyday uses of our products. Nothing on this site — including anything on the recipes or “Know your food” pages — is medical advice, and none of it is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication, please talk to a qualified doctor before making a food a regular part of your routine. If you have a food allergy, read the ingredients on the pack and ask us if anything is unclear.
8Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time password. Keep your phone and that OTP to yourself — anyone with access to them can see your order history and addresses. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has been using your account.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently, abusively, or to place orders with no intention of paying for or accepting them.
9Using this site
The text, photographs, illustrations and design on this site belong to us. You are welcome to share links, screenshots and recipes. Please do not copy the site wholesale, scrape it, or use our name, logo or photographs to sell your own products.
Please do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it. If you find a security problem, tell us — we would genuinely rather hear it from you.
Reviews you submit are yours, but by posting one you allow us to display it on the site. We publish reviews that are attached to a real order, and we do not edit a review to make it kinder.
10Our responsibility, and its limits
We stand behind what we sell. If something we supply is faulty, damaged, spoiled or wrong, we replace it or refund it — that is set out in the Returns & refunds policy, and nothing on this page takes away rights you have under Indian consumer law.
Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and we are not responsible for delays caused by things genuinely outside our control — courier failures, weather, strikes, or a delivery address we could not reach.
We do not promise that the site will always be available or completely free of errors. If it is down, your order and your money are unaffected.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.
Before it ever gets that far, please just message us. We are a small family business and an honest conversation has settled every problem we have had so far.
Something here unclear, or you think we got it wrong? Tell us — we would rather fix the policy than argue about it.
